Charitable Donations

Our Lord Jesus has taught us that it’s more blessed to give than to receive (Act 20:25). We believe that this does not only apply to us as individuals which is why since 2006, as a church we have donated 10% of our income to the work of other charitable causes with similar objectives to ours.

What we do

Members of Oasis of Love research and recommend any charitable organisation with pressing needs: All we ask is that they have charitable objectives similar to ours. After going through our selection process, we then decide whether or not we are able to support the recommended charitable organisation.

 

Some of the organisations we have supported are: World Vision UK, The Children’s Society, NSPCC, Breast Cancer haven, Christian Aid, Release International, Great Ormond Hospital, Sickle Cell Society, Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, Crest Waltham Forest, HopeUK, Lupus UK, African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust. We also have an outreach towards Single Parents which we support.

How you can be part of us
We are particularly keen on supporting charitable organisation with objectives similar to ours who perhaps do not have a high media profile but who are none the less doing a good work.
