Monday 21 March - His Relationship with God

  • Father, we thank you for the men in our lives for they were created in your image and class. You saw that they were good when you made men. (Gen 1:27). We come into agreement with you regarding your awesome creation and Masterpiece – man.

  • Thank you, Father, that you have accepted all our Oasis men into your family as your sons and heirs (just like Jesus). You have poured out your Spirit in their hearts so generously by which they cry out ‘Abba Father’. You have filled them with your Joy of salvation, and you have poured out your unconditional Love into their hearts. (1 John 3:1, Rom 5:5, John 1:12, Rom 8:15-16).

  • We thank you Father that these ones will forever be called your own.  We declare that Nothing…. absolutely nothing, can separate Our Men from your loving Arms. Thank you so much our Awesome Daddy in Heaven. (Rom 8:38-39).

  • Lord, we come to pray regarding your relationship with our men.  We pray that they will desire you more than ever before. Grant them an insatiable hunger and thirst for you. A longing that makes them permanent God-Chasers! (Ps 42:1, Ps 63:8, Phil 3:10,13-14, Rom 12:1).

  • Teach our men to be True worshippers of you in Spirit and in Truth! (Jn4:24, Phil 3:3).

  • Grant your sons more of your Spirit of Wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you: open their eyes further, that they may comprehend by revelation, the dealings of heaven on earth(Eph 1:17-20).

  • Father, we pray that your relationship with our men grows stronger and consistently in line with your will. Rooted in the foundation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Lord teach them the Path of life (Ps 16:11) so that they can live for you.

  • Work upon the hearts of your sons to desire and do your good pleasures. (Phil 2:13).

  • Strengthen them to ARISE and SHINE for You (Is 60:1-3).

  • Help each one of them to be an example of the Believer in all things, in word, conduct, love, faith and purity. (1 Tim 4:12).

  • We thank you Father that you took the time to carefully put Our Men together and placed them in the earth to be gods on the earth i.e. Have dominion on the earth. Long before arrival on the earth, you were their very first companion and friend. (Jer 1:5).

  • Lord, we thank you that you continue to be their best friend and confidant as they journey through life. Thank you for being the greatest father and role model ever. We are grateful that you never leave nor forsake your own sons.

  • Lead them in the path of your will so that they may please you. Rom 8:14. Your word says ‘it is NOT in man to direct his own step’ (Jer 10:23). Our men thoroughly need your direction Lord, more than ever before. Lead them like you led your children in the wilderness. (Deut 32:12).

  • Teach our men to pursue you with passion and fresh daily drive. Help them to hunger and thirst after you to the point of adapting and adjusting their lives in alignment with your assignment for their lives. (Ps 42:1).

Wednesday 23 March - His Relationship with His Family

  • Father, we thank you for choosing everyone’s family for them. Thank you for your choice of family for each of our men as sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, friends and associates. We trust that you have made the best choice for them regardless of what and how things look right now for your word says ‘God setteth the solitary in families’ (Ps 68:6.).

  • We realise that the various family relationships are fundamental to our lives and we seek your help to make power available for the men in our midst.

  • As sons, we pray concerning the men and their parents. That they will be compassionate towards their parents who at this time are mainly elderly and vulnerable. That they will be sons that love, honour and provide for their parents hence invoking the covenant of Long life and wellbeing. (Eph 6:1-3, 1 Tim 5:8).

  • As brothers, we pray that our men will be loyal and a brother’s keeper. We pray against unhealthy household competition and sibling rivalry such as was with Cain/Abel and Joseph/his brothers. Enable our men to cultivate the habit of being each other’s cheerleaders – encouraging good work every time.

  • As married men, we pray for an understanding heart for our men in dealing with their wives. That the Love of God will be their rule of thumb. (Jn 13:34-35, Eph 5:25, Gal 5:22). According to 1 Pet 3:7, they will learn to treat their wives as valuable, tender and honourable vessels who share in the same gift of grace with them.

  • We pray that our men will seek deeper insight into the mystery of marriage and endeavour to yield to the Holy Spirit more and more in this regard. (Eph 5:32).

  • Grant us unity within the marriages and families so that we can enjoy the blessings of the Lord which freely flows in the atmosphere of Unity and harmony. (Amos 3:3, Ps 133:1-3).

  • As fathers to children, we pray that our men will be true Imitators of God as dear sons of God. (Eph 5:1). Teach and impact our Men with the Father’s heart that you possess.

  • Help them to be role models to the children. That they will be the children’s example of the believer in all aspects, in word and deed. (1 Tim 4:12).

  • Enable our men to be faithful stewards of God’s grace towards the next generation by spearheading the mission of raising Godly, disciplined children for the kingdom of God.

  • Grant our men the ability to totally rely on you as under-shepherds of the home. Teach our men how to find pasture for the house on all levels – physical and spiritual.

Thursday 24 March - His Relationship with His Social Network

  • Lord, we realise that no man is an island because you made human beings to be social beings. You gave each one of us a desire to belong to a community; to be amongst fellow human beings, sharing, giving and receiving support and to be interdependent on one another.

  • We can see that you wisely created man in such a way that no man has everything he needs in himself, but we all need one another to enjoy a fulfilled and balanced life.  It is indeed true that ‘from the cradle to the grave, we need people’…Lord, we want to secure this aspect of our Men’s lives in prayer, knowing that you are the best one to arrange everyone’s social network. (1 Cor 15:33).

  • Lord, we ask that you arrange a godly social network for all our men. Lead them into the right friendships and allegiances. Enable them to be sensitive to you in hooking up with others. Grant them the ability to discern the ‘red flags’ and back off. (Rom 8:14).

  • Grant them insight and foreknowledge of their associations so they know how to relate with all. Help them establish healthy and solid relationships across the board. Grant them the ability to relate easily with all. (Rom 12:18).

  • Lord, we pray specifically for a divine collection of friends and acquaintances. In Jn 15:15, Jesus declared his friendship with the disciples, and they walked with Him in the path of destiny.

  • Grant them friends that will be a positive influence and stimulate each other in the right direction. Iron sharpens iron. (Prov 27:17).

  • Grant the social network of associations that will stand with them under the Grace of God, in good times and challenging times. (Prov 17;13, John 15:13).

  • Grant them the heart to pursue peace and Unity at all times. (Eph 4:3, Ps 133).

  • Please teach our men the law of sowing and reaping in relationships (Prov 18:24).

  • Teach them to love and maintain longsuffering in all relationships. (1 Cor 13:4)

  • In your mercy Lord please surround our men with godly counsellors (Prov 11:14) who will cheer them on as they endeavour to live a balanced life of faith.

  • We pray against physical sicknesses that are known to be peculiar to men such as hypertension, prostate cancer, Arthritis and the like. We take a stand against such in the name of Jesus Christ and we refuse them grounds in the lives of our Men. (Luke 10:19).

  • We speak life to their whole body, from their head to their toe and we speak ZOE LIFE to permeate them all day long, sustaining healing and health (Rom 8:11).

  • We recognise that their bodies are God’s Temple and we say it remains so in Jesus' name (1 Cor 6: 19-20).

Saturday 26 March – The Works of His Hands

  • Thank you, Abba Father, for the strength and ability to work. You established work as a duty of mankind way before the fall of man in the garden of Eden. You established the first family with the instruction to ‘dress it and keep it. Gen 2:15.

  • You instructed in your word that all should work so as to eat and give. 2 Thess 3:10. Eph 4:28. Indeed you established work as a process to multiply the resources of the earth via the seed principle.

  • Father, we pray that our men will have a divine revelation for work. Let them see that to work is not a curse, rather it is proof of our responsibility and authority over the earth. It started out as an expression of Adam’s dominion over the earth. Grant our men a new perspective for work so that they can enjoy your purpose in work.

  • Teach every man that ‘In all labour there is profit, But mere talk leads only to poverty.’ Prov 14:23.

  • Grant them the patience and endurance needed to obtain and eat the fruit of their labours as this can only come from you. Ps 128:2, Eccl 3:13, Eccl 5:18-20.

  • Lord, we ask that you lead your sons into gainful, fulfilling, high net worth and progressive work arrangements, whether as employees or self-employed.
  • Grant them supernatural favour with their employers or clients so that their income is consistent and progressive. We pray from Ps 90:17 saying ‘May the favour of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.’

  • Grant them divine prosperous ideas and inventions that skyrocket them into high finances, debt freedom and supernatural abundance. Your word says, ‘And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.’ 2 Cor 9: 8

  • Thank you, Father, because you are committed to our prosperity as your word said ‘…. Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant’ Ps 35.27. Your word also says, ‘I wish above all things that you prosper….’ and ‘…And whatever he does shall prosper.’ 3 Jn 2. Ps 1: 3.

  • Lord, it is always refreshing to know that our prosperity is your great delight. Thank you that you continue to prosper the men of OLCC and bring them out speedily into their wealthy place Ps 66:12.

Sunday 27 March – His love Walk

  • Thank you, Lord, for the OLCC man. We are grateful for the opportunity to pray for our Men. We trust that your Spirit rules in their lives to lead in the journey of life and destiny, to please and glorify you.

  • Today we want to ask for more of your manifested presence in the OLCC man such that he begins to exhibit the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit. (Matt 7:16).

  • Lord Holy Spirit, we ask for your help in the LOVE walk for every OLCC man because Jesus said ‘Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples’ (John 13:35).

  • We understand it is often difficult for human nature to maintain the LOVE walk under tough circumstances. However, Lord, we know there is nothing too hard for you.  Please teach the OLCC Man how to Love unconditionally. Teach him to tap into the same love that you already poured into our hearts. (Rom 5:5).

  • Teach the OLCC man that LOVE is the greatest of the 3 things that abide forever. (1 Cor 13:13).

  • Help the OLCC man to express the components of Agape Love such as Joy, peace, humility, servant-heartedness, faithfulness, integrity and loyalty. (1Cor 13:1-8).

  • We pray for hearts that are quick to forgive, repent and let go of pride.

  • Fill the OLCC man afresh unto overflowing with your Spirit and teach them to manifest the gifts of the Spirit which indicates that the church is alive. (1 Cor 12:1-11).

  • Grant them holy visions of the heart-cry of God and lead them on how to participate.

  • Bring the OLCC man to a new level in the spirit that results in a more prayerful life that is also willingly resourceful in the house of God.

  • Lord Jesus be glorified and magnified in the OLCC Man….in Jesus' name!
