Lent 2024 – Meet Our Lent Prayer Leaders

WEEK 1: BOLA TOBUN

Bola Tobun is the visioner and founder of Prayer Raid Ministry – a global platform based on 1 Timothy 2:1-4 and Matthew 6:33, where intercessors meet to pray in the Spirit for SOULS, LEADERS & NATIONS of the world to REPENT and to OBEY the VOICE of the Lord.
Meeting virtually to pray in the Spirit for an hour, from 5 am to 6 am, every first seven days of each calendar month.

In addition, Bola has a passion for educating and enlightening others on Wealth Creation and Financial Literacy, which led to the creation of Sustainable Academy. She organises and facilitates long-term investing seminars and workshops.

In her professional life, Bola has over 20 years experience in overseeing and directing the management of pension fund investment with assets ranging from £1.2bn to £2.2bn and also managing cash balances of portfolio ranging from £100m to £600m and over £900m borrowing portfolio for well-known organisations.

Bola is a frequent participant on the local government conference circuit, she is currently the chair of London Treasury Officers Forum (LTOF) and also a member of the money market sub committee for Bank of England. Bola holds a degree in chemical engineering and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA CGMA).


WEEK 2: DONNA GRIFFITH-SACKEY

Donna Griffith-Sackey is a dedicated servant of the Kingdom of God with a passion to:

1. support the building of the Body of Christ through prayer and the ministry of the Gospel and
2. help the next generation recognise and fulfil their potential.

This is demonstrated through her long-standing service to the Oasis of Love Christian Centre as a member of the Church Leadership Team, using different vehicles to connect with different sectors of the community via spearheading the Woman of Purpose Ministry, the Ministry of Helps, Youth Empowerment Seminars, Singles Events for Mature Christians and an Annual Community Street Party to name a few.

Professionally, Donna is a proficient Policy and Project Management professional serving the Telecommunications, Food, and Financial Services Regulators during her career.

Vocationally, Donna serves as a co-founder of W10, a global Leadership Mastery initiative for young people.

Personally, Donna serves as a loving wife and mother to David and Jada, respectively.


WEEK 3: REV. TOYIN OKUTINYANG

A barrister and solicitor by training, Rev. Toyin Okutinyang holds a master’s degree in law from King’s College, University of London, and heads her own Canadian immigration consultancy firm, V.I.S.A. – VisionLink Immigration Service Agency. She also graduated from Kenneth Hagin’s RHEMA Bible Training Center in Oklahoma, USA.

Toyin has served in many areas of ministry for over 35 years, and her passion is to teach and train believers in the Word of God and the move of the Holy Spirit. She and her husband have pastored in Nigeria and for over 17 years in Ontario, Canada. A gifted and practical Bible teacher, today she ministers internationally and is actively involved in ministerial training at multiple Bible training campuses. She currently serves as the national team leader for Curriculum Development and Review for RHEMA Nigeria.  

She has been joyfully married to Rev. Inyang Okutinyang for over 30 years, and together they head Faith Impact Ministries. They are blessed with a son and two daughters. She’s the author of Trials to Triumphs: Lessons from the Life of Joseph and Back to the Basics: Simple Secrets For Living In Victory. Both books are available on Amazon.

WEEK 4: AKIN AKINYEMI

Following in the footsteps of three generations of ministers, Akin, a prolific author and teacher of faith who, after a supernatural encounter with the Lord, has been sent with a mandate to restore healings and miracles to the land. Akin, who was commissioned into ministry by Pastor E. A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, is the founder of Believers’ Faith Campaign, a not-for-profit organisation that hosts interdenominational gatherings which offer a platform for the teaching of the Word of God, the preaching of the Gospel, special sessions for praying for the sick and the demonstrations of the Holy Spirit.

Akin co-founded Syncterface Media, a media and publishing company. He has written several books, which include The Knowledge of the Hebrew Boys, Piercing the Spirit of the Sadducees, and Understanding the Voice of God. His writings have been described as eye-opening, paradigm-changing and insightful.

Akin lives in the United Kingdom with his wife, Bukola and their two children.

WEEK 5: REV. ADEBAYO ADEMIJU

Rev. Adebayo Ademiju is the Senior Pastor of the Oasis of Love Christian Centre, Leytonstone, London. He has served in this position since 2003. 

His call to ministry began as a teenager while in university, where he served in Christ Love Fellowship for several years in different leadership roles, including teaching and pastoring God’s people. He is a seasoned minister who emphasises the practical application of the Word of God. He has a passion for seeing foundations laid in the family and society through the Word of God.

Rev.  Adebayo is also an IT consultant who has worked in various IT roles in Central Government, Insurance, Banking and Managed service companies in the UK for over 25 years. He is married to Agatha, who serves alongside him in the Ministry and is also the convener of Prayer Boot Camp For All Nations, a prayer ministry. They have been married for over 28 years and have two lovely sons, Tomisin and Ifeanyi.


WEEK 6: FUNMI QUADRI-JIMOH

Funmi Quadri-Jimoh (aka Funmi QJ) was born again and filled with the Holy Spirit as a teenager. Since then, she has developed a relentless pursuit of God. She attended Liberty Bible Training Centre, Kennington, London, under the leadership of Rod and Julie Anderson (who trained at Rhema under Kenneth E. Hagin) and graduated in 1996. She has helped pioneer multiple churches and church groups.

She is a vibrant Christian, an accomplished teacher of the word and a gifted prayer minister.

She is the visionary of the Single but NOT Satisfied (SBNS) network, a forum for mature single Christians looking to be married. She has a great passion for ‘mature singles’ (she got married in her early 40s herself) and is committed to ensuring they get their God-given inheritance and provision in life, thereby fulfilling Ephesians 5:27…church without blemish.

She serves on the leadership of Destiny Christian Centre, Acton London and is dedicated to making a global impact.

She has spoken at many singles Events, several Women’s Conferences, church conferences and Programs both in and outside the United Kingdom.

Funmi has a first degree in Economics and is also a qualified accountant. In addition, she has a master’s degree in finance and an MBA in International Business. She has been working in Management consulting for over two decades and has worked with Top consulting companies in Canada, the USA, and the United Kingdom. She currently works for one of the global leaders in consulting technology in the UK. She is married to Ola Quadri-Jimoh, and they are blessed with a miracle son.


WEEK 7: REV. VICTORIA LAWRENCE

Rev Victoria Lawrence is an ordained minister, Council member of Churches in Communities, and Director of Missions at Christ Royal Church International, UK! She’s an apostle by calling, and through her missionary work, she’s travelled to Kenya, Ghana, Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, and Nigeria, where lives were touched through the transforming power of the word and her ministry gifts!
