Lent 2025 – Meet Our Lent Prayer Leaders
WEEK 1: BUNMI ADEKEYE
Bunmi Adekeye is a child of God saved by grace, who is daily working out her salvation with fear and trembling.
She is a lifelong student who is continually under the tutelage of the Holy Spirit to know how to pray; and how to teach other Christians so their prayers become kingdom focused. To this end, she has written two books on prayer and she regularly runs Teach Us To Pray, a programme named after one of her book titles.
Bunmi is a lay member of City Gates Church, Ilford (a church within the Elim Pentecostal network) and she is happily married to Kayode Adekeye. God has blessed their union of 33 years with two sons.
Her prayer is that everyone who joins the prayer sessions this lent would be ignited by the Holy Spirit to become intercessors that shift their focus to seeking God’s Kingdom and His righteousness and that they will be supernaturally blessed as they do so.
WEEK 2: DONNA GRIFFITH-SACKEY
Donna Griffith-Sackey is a dedicated servant of the Kingdom of God with a passion to:
1. support the building of the Body of Christ through prayer and the ministry of the Gospel and
2. help the next generation recognise and fulfil their potential.
This is demonstrated through her long-standing service to the Oasis of Love Christian Centre as a member of the Church Leadership Team, using different vehicles to connect with different sectors of the community via spearheading the Woman of Purpose Ministry, the Ministry of Helps, Youth Empowerment Seminars, Singles Events for Mature Christians and an Annual Community Street Party to name a few.
Professionally, Donna is a proficient Policy and Project Management professional serving the Telecommunications, Food, and Financial Services Regulators during her career.
Vocationally, Donna serves as a co-founder of W10, a global Leadership Mastery initiative for young people.
Personally, Donna serves as a loving wife and mother to David and Jada, respectively.
WEEK 3: PASTOR. TEMI ODEJIDE
Temi Odejide is a medical doctor turned pastor, preacher, teacher, author, leadership & life coach, husband and father; truly a man of many parts.
Always a pioneer, he started his first youth fellowship and writing ministry before he entered University to study medicine. In University he pastored Christ Love Fellowship; one of the largest campus of fellowships in Obafemi Awolowo University. After internship, he moved to Abuja, Nigeria where he joined House on the Rock Abuja and quickly rose to becoming a senior associate pastor and the Director Administration and Finance for the Church. He served there for 12 years before being sent to London where he took over the leadership of House on the Rock London in 2012 and continues to serve as her resident pastor along with his wife and family.
He has authored two faith-based motivational classics – ‘See Your Way Forward’ and ‘No More Fear’. His 2019 release is a 4-volume devotional series titled ‘Insight’ covering a year of devotions. His current release is a must-read eBook titled ‘Make the Switch’. He has many other books in the works that are soon to be released.
He is an adept teacher of God’s Word with an analytical mind, a much sought after conference speaker and champion of intelligent prayer. He is an apostle of realistic faith. His dynamic, thought provoking messages stay with his listeners for many years after hearing him. As a certified relationship counselor, he has helped many turn around their relationships. As a leadership expert he is a coach, mentor and counselor to CEOs, captains of industry, pastors and leaders across a wide spectrum. At the core of his passion is his desire to demystify truth and bring Scripture into practical application. Though spiritual in his person he is yet pragmatic in his approach, his message cuts across many genres.
He is happily married to Abisoye and they have three children.
WEEK 4: FUNMI QUADRI-JIMOH
Funmi Quadri-Jimoh (aka Funmi QJ) was born again and filled with the Holy Spirit as a teenager. Since then, she has developed a relentless pursuit of God. She attended Liberty Bible Training Centre, Kennington, London, under the leadership of Rod and Julie Anderson (who trained at Rhema under Kenneth E. Hagin) and graduated in 1996. She has helped pioneer multiple churches and church groups.
She is a vibrant Christian, an accomplished teacher of the word and a gifted prayer minister.
She is the visionary of the Single but NOT Satisfied (SBNS) network, a forum for mature single Christians looking to be married. She has a great passion for ‘mature singles’ (she got married in her early 40s herself) and is committed to ensuring they get their God-given inheritance and provision in life, thereby fulfilling Ephesians 5:27…church without blemish.
She serves on the leadership of Destiny Christian Centre, Acton London and is dedicated to making a global impact.
She has spoken at many singles Events, several Women’s Conferences, church conferences and Programs both in and outside the United Kingdom.
Funmi has a first degree in Economics and is also a qualified accountant. In addition, she has a master’s degree in finance and an MBA in International Business. She has been working in Management consulting for over two decades and has worked with Top consulting companies in Canada, the USA, and the United Kingdom. She currently works for one of the global leaders in consulting technology in the UK. She is married to Ola Quadri-Jimoh, and they are blessed with a miracle son.
WEEK 5: RICHARD AND KEMI OYIN-ADENIJI
Richard and Kemi Oyin-Adeniji serve as Missionaries in African nations.
They were commissioned as Missionaries in 2008 when they were divinely led to move to Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
House of Wells Enrichment Centres which was founded by them in 2008 now operates in 7 African nations- South Africa, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Kenya, Uganda Nigeria and Ghana, with 35 of these Enrichment Centres welcoming over 3000 children and teenagers every week.
The mission is to raise children that would be used by God in the forthcoming revival that would blanket the continent of Africa and impact the world.
House of Wells was founded to restore hope and release potential of disadvantaged children in impoverished communities.
The primary assignment is to disciple young people by teaching them biblical truths and exposing them to the transforming presence of the Holy Spirit, essentially to raise young people to become prayer warriors that would be battle axes in the hands of the Lord to decimate the influence of the enemy camp across the continent of Africa and beyond.
Richard and Kemi are seasoned and passionate prayer leaders who have been married for 34 years, with 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
WEEK 6: REV. VICTORIA LAWRENCE
Rev Victoria Lawrence is an ordained minister, Council member of Churches in Communities, and Director of Missions at Christ Royal Church International, UK! She’s an apostle by calling, and through her missionary work, she’s travelled to Kenya, Ghana, Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, and Nigeria, where lives were touched through the transforming power of the word and her ministry gifts!

– Passionate about Advocacy, speaking up for the oppressed and marginalised members of society, especially women and families with children with Special Needs

WEEK 7: AKIN AKINYEMI
Following in the footsteps of three generations of ministers, Akin, a prolific author and teacher of faith who, after a supernatural encounter with the Lord, has been sent with a mandate to restore healings and miracles to the land. Akin, who was commissioned into ministry by Pastor E. A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, is the founder of Believers’ Faith Campaign, a not-for-profit organisation that hosts interdenominational gatherings which offer a platform for the teaching of the Word of God, the preaching of the Gospel, special sessions for praying for the sick and the demonstrations of the Holy Spirit.
Akin co-founded Syncterface Media, a media and publishing company. He has written several books, which include The Knowledge of the Hebrew Boys, Piercing the Spirit of the Sadducees, and Understanding the Voice of God. His writings have been described as eye-opening, paradigm-changing and insightful.
Akin lives in the United Kingdom with his wife, Bukola and their two children.
